Hello! My names Makis, let me tell you about what I offer. First and foremost, results. You want to get rid of that lockdown bod and tone up? I'm your guy. You want to learn how to defend yourself and improve your Muay Thai technique/knowledge? Again, I'm your guy. Whether you want a private group session with your friends/family or a 1-to-1 session anything can be arranged. Sessions will be held at our new premises in Enfield Town, home vists can be aranaged too just send me a text.

About Me:
Makis’ martial arts journey started at the age of 12 when he discovered Karate. He quickly realised he enjoyed the art of discipline and hard work that lies within martial arts training, as well as introducing him to competition. After a few years into his training, at around age 15 Makis was keen to move on to full contact striking.
Coming away from karate and towards Muay Thai Makis trained regularly for a year at a local gym, in this time his love for Muay Thai slowly developed and Makis felt Muay Thai was the way to go.
Whilst training at Northside MMA Makis met our very own head coach Matt who was teaching the Muay Thai class there. This was his first time in a fighter’s class, and he immediately fell in love with the intensity, hard training and sparring involved in the sport of Muay Thai.
Instantly hooked, he continued to take every opportunity to improve, attending all Muay Thai classes and putting in extra hours with his training partner outside the gym with the goal to compete.
Makis has been with Northside ever since, where he now fights at a professional level in K1 and Muay Thai. Makis has gone on to fight and compete in many competitions to date but his most notable achievement so far is winning a AK Southern area title.
After many loyal years at NSMT and also fighting for and remarkably representing the gym in and out the ring as well as helping out with some of the training during our junior classes, Makis was offered a assistant coach position by head coach Matt.
It was during this time Makis developed an admiration for coaching and the joy of passing on his knowledge and experience to others. Makis now assists with the junior and adult classes and also assists in the corner beside Matt at fight shows learning and developing the craft.
